Viking Card Game
A digital card game in the style of Hearthstone and MtG: Arena. It's inspired by Scandinavian culture and mythology, with fantasy elements. The project is still in the works. The following are 3 artworks commissioned for one of the decks.
Wraiths
In this game the wraiths are creatures that are a result of sudden or violent death. They end up embodying and reliving the emotion they felt the strongest right before the end of their mortal lives.
Cosmic Wraith
Being part of a cult that worshipped the world-devourer whose coming was marked by a solar eclipse, this cosmic even struck fear and awe into the hearts of its followers. During a summoning ritual this particular cultist succumbed to the maddening terror and tried to escape. Which earned him a dagger through the heart. Forever bound to the tool of his demise, he wanders the fields around his death site, with an eternal scream of horror and anguish etched into his features.
Stellar Wraith
While excavating in an old mine, the woman finally struck gold! Unfortunately at that exact moment the tunnel she was mining in collapsed, burying her under an avalanche of stone and debris. Now her wraith wonders the remaining tunnels in an eternal bliss of discovery, illuminating them with her eerie golden glow.
Wind Wraith
A youth wandered into the foggy bogs and
lost his way. With nothing to sustain him, he could only curl up next to the crooked tree, holding onto his father's seax for comfort, and await death. His wraith now sits at his side, mourning the loss of those potential years of life lost.
